This cocktail blends the smoky depth of Tierra de Jaguar Espadín mezcal with the tangy sweetness of tamarind, the brightness of fresh lime, and a spicy kick of chile. Served in a chili-salted glass, it’s a sensory experience from start to finish.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz mezcal TIERRA DE JAGUAR ESPADÍN
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz tamarind concentrate or syrup
  • 0.5 oz orange liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
  • 0.5 oz chili syrup or chili powder to taste for a spicy touch
  • Ice
  • Salt and chili powder for rimming the glass
  • Lime wedge or dried chili for garnish

Elaboration

  • Rim the glass with salt and chili powder.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the mezcal TIERRA DE JAGUAR ESPADÍN, lime juice, tamarind concentrate, orange liqueur, and chili syrup with ice.
